FAQ2: Liquid crystal based VOAs may be more reliable than MEMS based VOAs, but aren't they incapable of handling high power input?

Not Lightwaves2020's Liquid Crystal based VOA. It can handle the same high power input as any MEMS based system. The test results below show the LC VOAs power handling capability. The samples are under high power input for more than one hour. The insertion losses of the VOAs do not change.
