VP of Engineering
The VP of Engineering will lead a team of R & D Engineers in the development
of novel optical components and sub-systems for fiber optic network applications.
The initial focus will be on telecommunications but will eventually diversify
into other fields including medical, defense, security and instrumentation.
Requirements:
MS (PhD preferred) in Engineering plus 10 years technical and managerial
experience in the design and development of opto-electronic devices/subsystems
for fiber optic based networks
Strong analytical skills and excellent system understanding
Excellent management and leadership skills-- can take projects from
development to production
Familiar with Firmware, electronics design and development, and QA
requirements
Fully understands the market needs and requirements of the fiber

DSP Application Development Engineer
This position will design and develop high speed real-time DSP software
and hardware for analog-to-digital conversion, weak-signal detection,
advanced pulse-parameters measurement, motor control, fast pump-laser
control and communication interfaces.
Responsibilities:
Define HW/SW split in product implementation.
Design and develop high-speed real-time DSP software (including
firmware) with C/C++ to control high-speed & high-precision
analog-to-digital conversion.
Develop DSP algorithm and firmware to detect weak signal and to
measure pulse signal parameters.
Develop DSP software for real-time control of motor and opto components.
Debug DSP-based board for optical module and instrument.
Support integration of our technology into integrated opto-electronic module.

Electrical Design Engineer
This position will design circuit schematics and develop PCB layout
using P-CAD, develop embedded firmware in C/C++, perform testing, and
support integration of our technology into Opto-Electronic Module. This
encompasses the following tasks:
Responsibilities:
Define HW/SW split in product implementation.
Design and develop board level hardware using P-CAD.
Design and develop FPGA using HDL.
Design and develop firmware with C/C++ to control high-speed & high-precision
analog-to-digital conversion.
Develop signal processing algorithm and firmware to detect
weak signal and measure pulse signal parameters.
Develop firmware for real-time control of motor and Opto-Components.
Debug microprocessor-based board for optical module and instrument.
Thorough knowledge of circuits and system including amplification,
filtering, ADC/DAC and microprocessor
Strong understanding of signal processing techniques including
time-frequency analysis and adaptive signal processing
Extensive knowledge and programming experience in C/C++ and Assembly

Hardware Design Engineer
We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to develop high-speed digital,
analog- and-mixed-signa-control circuits for EDFA, integrated modules
and other sub-system products
Requirements:
Minimum BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
6 years of related working experience on hardware design
2 years of experience on EDFA and/or Optical modules
Strong ability to manage hardware design from concept to prototype
and do pilot run
Experience with high-speed digital circuit design utilizing CMOS,
TTL, PECL, LVDS, FPGAs, DSPs, MCUs components
Working knowledge of analog control circuit design, able to use operational
amplifier, log amplifier, PID and PWN
Working knowlegde of communication interfaces and protocols such
as, RS-232, I2C, SNMP, and Ethernet technology
Experience with PCB layout and design. Able to analysis, test and
fault isolation from PCB hardware level down to component level
Experience with electronic control design for EDFA and integrated
optical modules
Some experience in assembly language and other programming language
is a plus
Liquid Crystal Materials and Process Engineer
Requirements:
3+ years of direct experience in liquid crystal materials and fabrication
for fiber optics or display applications
Proven capabilities on LC, PDLC ans HPDLC materials mixing
Rich experience on liquid crystal cell fabrication process and related
equipments
Knowledge in industrial process control and basic fiber optics
MS/Ph.D. in Chemical Physics
Quality Assurance Manager
Responsibilities:
Develop and set up short-term and long-term corporate-wide quality
objectives.
Develop and standardize quality process and metrics.
Organize semi-annual management review meeting.
Create, manage, review, and update ISO system and documents.
Lead internal and customer on-site audits; coordinate annual surveillance
audit.
Provide leadership in departmental or cross-functional quality system
initiatives.
Develop, execute and manage qualification test cases and plans
Define and measure entrance/exit criteria for all product releases
Propose effective solutions to enforce and monitor quality systems
in production lines.
Lead failure analysis and propose corrective and preventive actions

Sales Account Manager
Requirements:
Minimum education: BA/BS degree
5+ years of sales experience in fiber optics with proven track records
Close relationship with major customers in telecom and CATV

Sales Engineer and Accounts Manager
Responsibilities:
Hit target for your territory for each fiscal year.
Develop and maintain a territory sales plan that focuses on key accounts and sales stimulus
activities including planned seminars, product shows, and mailings.
Profile and penetrate key accounts by developing account profiles.
Understand customer organizations by department, function,
strategies, and key programs.
Master the basic features and benefits of our primary products
including Fiber Optical Components, Modules, Sub-Systems and Optical
Test Equipments.
Identify and sell into new and existing applications for Lightwaves2020 products.
Demonstrate basic operation of Lightwaves2020 products.
Effectively utilize sales resources including applications
engineers, channel partners, sales representatives, distributors and

Requirements:
