Software Engineer
Job Summary:
Develop and improve software design for device drivers and leading–edge
fiber-optic components.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years industry experience
Familiarity with mathematic algorithm development and optimization
process
Solid foundation in programming for automating control and test systems
Software development expertise in Visual C++
Experience in firmware and assembly is a plus
DSP Engineer
This position will design and develop high speed real-time DSP software
and hardware for analog-to-digital conversion, weak-signal detection,
advanced pulse-parameters measurement, motor control, fast pump-laser
control and communication interfaces.
Responsibilities:
Work on microprocessor controls, such as 8051,ARM9, Ti DSP.
Write and debug embedded firmware using C, C++, and Assembly languages.
Work
on real-time embedded operating systems, version control tools, compliance
with coding standards and process flow systems.
Undertake new development
and support, enhancement, and bug fixes for existing products in C
and C++, Labview. Write, debug and validate firmware, create documentation
and debug field returns.
Assist in developing products to ensure compliance
with quality standards.
Perform all assignments assigned by supervisors
and managers.
Requirements:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Major in Electronic Engineering
Preferred M.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Major in Electronic
engineering
Minimum 2-year experience with analog and digital circuit design
for fiber optical transmission system
Minimum 1-year experience with RF design, direct experience with
RF design for optical transmitter and receiver is preferred
Software design experience and basic knowledge of optical fiber
transmission system is a plus

Optical Coating Engineer
Qualifications and Job Descriptions:
Majored in Physics/Optics (or equivalent) with MS degree minimum.
Hands on experience in Optical Coating and Polishing/Dicing activities
for 3 years minimum.
Need to lead and train the technicians and operators for coating
related production, testing, and maintenance activities.
Experienced in the design and simulation SW of coating by Leybold
and Veeco coating chambers.
Understand and being able to design, produce and test different optical
coatings such as:
Telecom (DWDM, CWDM, OCM, X skip…) filter coating.
IR band pass filter, Visible band pass filter coating.
Compensator, Mirror, and Metal coating.
ITO, HR, AR coating.
Medical, Astronomic, Scientific, GFF, and other special filter coating.
Understand and being able to execute chamber/heater/pump/grid services.
Understand and being able to plan & lead all Coating, Polishing/Dicing
equipments.
Optical Engineer
Experience Qualifications/Requirements:
Requires a mininum of five years industry experience.
Familiar with passive components such as optical switch,
VOA and PC, and/or active devices such as ASE source,
EDFA and tunable laser source.
Lab experience with optical characterization techniques,
calibration, alignment, and assembly.
Knowledge of optical spectral monitoring and lasers.
Experience in the use of commercial optical design software
packages and modeling tools.
A Bachelor or higher degree in Optics, Physics, or Electronic
Engineering is required.
Job description:
Design and develop innovative components and sub-systems
for telecommunication application.
Design and develop fiber optical devices based on E-O
crystal, liquid crystal and thin film technologies, such
as variable optical attenuator, optical switch, polarization
controller, optical channel monitor, tunable filter and
others.
Work with other engineers to apply the innovative components
into integrated module or sub-systems.
Set up test station and experiments, verify proper functioning,
and run experiments independently including operation and
calibration of test equipments such as Laser sources, optical
power meter, optical spectrum analyzer and other measurement
instruments.
Ability to understand functioning of experimental set-ups,
implement and debug experiments.
Complete assigned ISO documents such as WI, BOM and
quality record through product development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
Extensive mechanical design of test apparatus, housing, tooling,
small fixture for optical component devices and sub-systems
Develop complex R&D prototype designs
Resolve fabrication and assembly problems
Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering
5+ year experience in mechanical design with AutoCAD, or Solid Works
Hand-on experience with the mechanical design for optical components
or modules
Experience on enclosure and front panel design for optical testing
instruments
Coordinate with hardware design engineer to optimize the mechanical
design
Sales Account Manager
Requirements:
Minimum education: BA/BS degree
3+ years of sales experience in fiber optics with proven track records
Close relationship with major customers in telecom and CATV
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English speaking and writing
Motivative, aggressive and team player
